Bobby Kielty, who hit the home run that provided what proved to be the game-winning run in Game Four of the 2007 World Series, has signed a minor-league deal with the Minnesota Twins and will report to their Triple-A team in Rochester. Kielty requested and was given his release from the Red Sox organization on Saturday, July 12. He had spent the entire season at Pawtucket and hit .228 with 3 homers and 18 runs batted in for the PawSox. |
