Alpine's Amanda Sabitoni, coming off a 7-and-5 victory over medalist Rebecca Hunt on Thursday, continued her hot hand in defeating Warwick's Maureen Ford, 5 and 4 in the semifinals of the R.I. Women's Golf Association Amateur Championship Friday at Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln.
In the other semifinal, Lisa McGill, of Misquamicut, beat Agawam Hunt's Kibbe Reilly, 2-up. The championship match between Sabitoni and McGill, a 2005 champion, will be at 8:45 a.m. Saturday.
