| Little League regionals -- Two calls go against Cranston Western »
Click the play button below to hear Sean's comments, recorded this morning. The topics -- Josh Beckett getting back on the winning track, Mike Lowell feeling better, Jason Bay's strange double, and Bartolo Colon's disappointing rehab start. Here's what Sean said about some of the strange plays we've seen in Red Sox games this year: "The one in New York [on July 4] that Youkilis hit, where the ball just seemed to hang there forever like a basketball that won't drop into the rim, and then last night -- even more bizarrely -- the ball traveled along the top of the wall before being swiped in by [Ross] Gload. Having watched a lot of baseball over the years, those are two plays that I've never seen before, and both of them involving the Red Sox over a month or so." |
