The Boston Globe's Mike Reiss reports that John Lynch, a nine-time Pro Bowl safety, is visiting Gillette Stadium today at the invitation of the Patriots. New England recently lost veteran safety Tank Williams to a season-ending knee injury, making the 36-year-old Lynch, who has played 15 seasons with Tampa Bay and Denver, a possible alternative.
