Filed earlier today by Shalise Manza Young on the PatsBlog: The Patriots are holding their first on-field practice of the week on the lower practice field, and are wearing shells and shorts. The story today is about who was on the field that hasn't been for a while, as T Matt Light, CB Jason Webster, G Billy Yates and TE Stephen Spach all returned. Light and Webster have not been on the field since July 26, just three days into training camp. Tom Brady was on the field and appeared to be moving well; as reported earlier, Brady told WEEI this morning that he's feeling "very good" and expects to be ready for the regular season opener on Sept. 7. As for who was not on the field: DB Brandon Meriweather |
