The Johnston Junior League All-Stars edged Bangor, Maine, 9-8, in a losers' bracket game of the Eastern Regionals yesterday at Freehold, N.J. The victory keeps Johnston's baseball team alive in the double-elimination tournament as it plays Maryland/Delaware at 10 a.m. today. Johnston lost to Massachusetts, 6-1, in its first game Saturday.
