The Boston Globe reports that Red Sox catcher and team captain Jason Varitek has filed for divorce from his wife, Karen. The Globe reports that the paperes were filed in Gwinnett County, Georgia, where the Variteks live in the offseason. The Variteks have three daughters, ages 8, 6 and 3.
