By Steven Krasner The entire lineup hasn't been handed out, and the Sox' clubhouse will not be open at 3:30 as it normally does because of a team meeting. But the word from the Sox' PR staff is that newly acquired outfielder Jason Bay is in the starting lineup and will be batting fifth. David Ortiz will be staying in the number three hole with Mike Lowell moving up to fourth, replacing the traded Manny Ramirez in the cleanup spot. At 3:45 this afternoon, general manager Theo Epstein and manager Terry Francona will meet with the media and when they are done, Bay will be brought into the interview room. More details to come on the SoxBlog. |
