Mike Capone, whose season has been slowed by injury problems, recorded a 4-under-par 68 yesterday to stand in second place after the first round of the Golfers' Warehouse Tour Nike Championship at Crestwood Country Club. The former Rhode Island Amateur champion is two strokes behind Massachusetts native Rob Oppenheim. New Bedford's Kevin Silva is tied for third with Andrew Svoboda of Larchmont, N.Y.
