| Jimmy Johnson: Patriots 'still . . . one of the top teams in the NFL' »
On the off-chance that either of the games tonight or tomorrow at Yankee Stadium ends after, say, four hours or less, Red Sox and Yankee fans might want to check out ESPN's Baseball Tonight, which will announce its picks for the three greatest players in the history of the two franchises, along with the results of fan balloting for the number-one greatest player in each team's history. Baseball Tonight has been going one franchise at a time with this concept all month. Tonight is Red Sox night, and tomorrow is Yankees night. Fans can vote for one of the following Red Sox player as the greatest of all time: Wade Boggs, Roger Clemens, Bobby Doerr, Carlton Fisk, Pedro Martinez, Manny Ramirez, Jim Rice, Ted Williams, Cy Young and Carl Yastrzemski. The Yankee choices: Yogi Berra, Bill Dickey, Joe DiMaggio, Whitey Ford, Lou Gehrig, Derek Jeter, Mickey Mantle, Mariano Rivera, Red Ruffing and Babe Ruth. Baseball Tonight begins at 10 o'clock tonight and tomorrow night. |
