Barrington opened up a 13-4 lead with an eight-run fourth inning and defeated West Salisbury, Md., 14-4, in the Senior League Eastern Regionals yesterday at West Deptford, N.J. All eight runs in the fourth were scored with two outs. Jake Portugal pitched all five innings for Barrington and teammate Steven Crawford went 3-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored. Barrington, which beat Suncook, N.H., in the opener Friday night, will play tomorrow at 8 p.m. against Ellsworth, Maine or North Cumberland, N.J.
