Once again, the biggest sports story on the non-sports pages is Alex Rodriguez and his, er, off-the-field issues. Here's what they're writing about today:

New York Post:

Sexy singing siren Madonna stole A-Rod's heart, fueling the obsessive infatuation that helped doom his marriage, a lawyer for his wife said yesterday upon filing divorce papers. (A-Rod went over the 'Borderline')

He's not accused of rape and he didn't kill any dogs - so A-Rod's all good. Cynthia Rodriguez has had enough of her husband's cheating ways, but Alex Rodriguez is still squeaky clean in the eyes of his corporate sponsors, image experts told The Post yesterday. (Cheating hubby A-OK with corporate sponsors)

Alex Rodriguez never lives in the past. He always is moving forward. Don't expect his impending divorce to impact his baseball world. A-Rod separates his real-world problems from his baseball life. That always has been the way for him. (Divorce won't distract A-Rod)

The New York Daily News

If it jiggled, A-Rod wanted it. The Yankees slugger had a powerful yen for strippers and exotic dancers that even his hot-bodied spouse, Cynthia, could not satisfy, pals and other sources said. (Strippers a big hit with A-Rod - sources)

Alex Rodriguez's bitter divorce took an ugly turn on Monday night when Team A-Rod accused his estranged wife of going on a spiteful spending spree in Paris. Spurned spouse Cynthia Rodriguez used the Yankee slugger's credit card to the tune of $100,000 to punish him for a dalliance with Madonna that both he and the Material Girl deny, an A-Rod pal said. (A-Rod pal: Cynthia spent $100G in Paris)

And the local girls at The Herald's Inside Track join the pile-on:

Cheatin' Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez had a two-night stand with an ex-Centerfolds stripper while in town to play the Red Sox in 2004, and Candice Houlihan says A-Rod's wife "did the right thing" by filing for divorce yesterday. "A leopard doesn't change his spots," Houlihan, now a Reading hairdresser, told the Track. "Good for her, I think she's doing the smart thing. And she'll probably get tons of cash."
