The Louisville Courier-Journal reports today that the University of Louisville, the University of Kentucky and Purdue University have sent recruiting letters to a 14-year-old named Sydney Moss. The 5-foot-10 Ryle High School (Union, Ky.) freshman is the daughter of Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss, and she is expected to be among the top 100 players in the class of 2012, the newspaper reports. Here's what an AAU coach who has seen Moss play told the Courier-Journal: "She's a very dynamic player with the basketball. She's got incredible natural hops. Even though she's at 5-10, she can jump and grab rebounds over 6-2, 6-3 girls because of her excellent leaping ability. She has awesome hands." Sounds like she may have learned a thing or two from dad, who himself was a basketball star as well as a football star in high school. |
