The first question at McCain's town hall meeting Thursday focused on Favre. The three-time MVP wants to come out of retirement but might not play for the Green Bay Packers. The questioner said McCain would carry Wisconsin in the election if he could resolve this standoff. McCain laughed and said there are many controversies he has confronted, but "I'm not so dumb that I'm going to jump into that one." McCain went on to say that no matter what happens, it's clear Favre has provided the country and Wisconsin with great memories.
