After announcing yesterday that negotiations had broken off and Barry Bonds' 756th home-run ball would not be heading to the Hall of Fame, the two sides had a change of direction and now the ball will be displayed in Cooperstown. (Los Angeles Times) It does have the owner-imprinted asterisk on it, though, so it doesn't look as if Bonds will be participating in any ceremonies concerning the ball. |
