| NBA FINALS IN-GAME: Magic Johnson confident Lakers will take control of series »
BY KEVIN McNAMARA LOS ANGELES – The Celtics entered tonight’s game with little concern about Rajon Rondo’s ankle, but that didn’t last too long. Rondo turned the ankle in the third quarter of Game Three but a day of rest and treatment improved the ankle enough to get Rondo into the starting lineup. Rondo seemed to move well early on, but when the Lakers raced out to an early lead, Doc Rivers replaced Rondo with Eddie House after only five minutes of action. "He’s all set to go. He’s ready," Rivers said before the game. "I’m really not concerned. I think he’ll be fine." House has played well in this series and the Celtics needed him to make some shots to help cut into L.A.’s impressive first quarter lead. Rondo's inability to make jump shots, perhaps couple with some concern over his ankle, shipped the second-year pro to the bench early. |
