Rounding out the field for the 10th annual CVS Caremark Charity Classic is the PGA Tour’s newest fan favorite Paul Goydos along with England’s Justin Rose. Both golfers are experiencing a career year including remarkable second place finishes in recent tournaments. The CVS Charity Classic is June 22-24 at the Rhode Island Country Club in Barrington.

Goydos, who stole golf fans’ hearts with his self-effacing style and dramatic play during the 2008 The Players Championship, will be making his first appearance at the CVS Caremark Charity Classic. Rose, who finished second at the Memorial Tournament, is also new to the Charity Classic and joins other international stars Nick Faldo, Nick Price and Camilo Villegas.

The CVS Caremark Charity Classic’s notable 20-player field has won a combined 10 majors and earned 129 total victories. Other golfers taking to the course for the prestigious tournament include tournament co-hosts Brad Faxon and Billy Andrade, Davis Love III, Boo Weekley, Brandt Snedeker, Charles Howell III, J.J. Henry, Stewart Cink, Bubba Watson, Peter Jacobsen, Dana Quigley, Tim Herron, Brett Quigley, Laura Diaz and Nicole Castrale.

“Paul Goydos and Justin Rose complete an impressive roster of world class golfers who will undoubtedly help us celebrate the 10th anniversary of the CVS Caremark Charity Classic with outstanding play,” said Eileen Howard Dunn, Tournament Chairman, CVS Caremark Charity Classic. “Most importantly, they’ll play a vital role in helping the tournament raise significant funds for New England charities dedicated to children and families.”
