Twenty-year-old Ryan Woolley of Montclair, Va., was charged Monday, a day after the accident that left Barrett Dail, of Raleigh, N.C., in critical condition with head and leg injuries. Dail is a right-handed pitcher for the University of North Carolina who was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 32nd round of the 2006 draft. Woolley is a right-hander for the University of Georgia. Both are members of the Brewster Whitecaps. Police told The Cape Cod Times that Woolley claimed the accident occurred when he tried to move his truck and Dail jumped on the hood. --AP |
