Whiting, Teixeira pace Mt. Hope to IA Girls Lax title

R.I. Chapter of U.S. Lacrosse Player of the Game Kayla Whiting netted five goals and Ariel Teixeira contributed three in leading Mt. Hope to an 11-7 victory over Cranston West in the Rhode Island Interscholastic League Division IA Girls Lacrosse Championship this afternoon at Rhode Island College.
