Don Gillis, who was the top sportscaster in Boston during the 1960s and 1970s, has died at the age of 85. Gillis' son Gary, who followed his father into sportscasting, provided the story to Gillis' old station, Channel 5. Gillis also did pregame and postgame work on the station's Red Sox broadcasts in the '60s and early '70s. |
