Broadcaster Glenn Geffner has left the Boston Red Sox to become the No. 2 radio announcer for the Florida Marlins. Geffner will do play-by-play for four innings while Dave Van Horne will call the other five. Geffner, a Miami native, shared No. 2 duties with ESPN announcer Dave O’Brien last season. Prior to that, Geffner was a radio fill-in for the Red Sox and was the team’s vice president of communications.
