The game went back and forth for the last 11 minutes of the second half. BC didn't open much room until a Rakim Sanders 3-point shot made it 75-70 with 1:07 left. Will Daniels scored quickly for the Rams but a BC turnover with gave URI hope. However Keith Cothran missed the front end of a 1-and-1 and Shamari Spears made a free throw to make it 76-72 with 14 seconds left.

Sanders scored 21 points for BC while Tyrese Rice added 24. Daniels led URI with 25 points.
