There was a great score this afternoon in the Deutsche Bank Championship. It's just that very few of the fans saw the guy doing it.

Camilo Villegas, a second-year player from Colombia, had eight birdies on the way to a 63 to take a two-stroke lead after the first day of the $7 million tournament at TPC Boston.

Villegas, whose score was his lowest ever on tour, was playing several groups ahead of the big three of Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Vijay Singh. After a wild front nine that included problems for all three, the super stars settled down on the back nine, although they had trouble scoring. Mickelson finsihed with a 70, Woods 72 and Singh 74.
