Joe Sprague Jr. leaving RIGA for similar post in Massachusetts

Joe Sprague Jr., executive director of the Rhode Island Golf Association for the last seven years, is leaving the RIGA for a similar position with the Massachusetts Golf Association.

Sprague, who has worked for the RIGA for 15 years, will begin his new job in April. The Massachusetts Golf Association is headquartered at the Tournament Players Club in Norton, Mass.

Joe has done a terrific job with the RIGA. He has always run professional tournaments and is one of the nicest gentleman I know. We the players certainly wish him the best in his new venture at the MGA.
